As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, C.O.I.L. holds a profound belief in the importance of giving back to the communities that support us. While our athletes may compete fiercely in the ring, our true mission extends far beyond the sport itself. We strive to make a meaningful impact through a transparent revenue-sharing model that supports vital causes resonating with our values and the communities we serve.
Here is how we thoughtfully allocate revenue from our events to ensure maximum community impact:
33% to the Host School: This portion covers essential expenses, ensuring schools can continue providing a nurturing environment for students.
33% to C.O.I.L. Operations: These funds sustain our ability to deliver quality programs and events as a nonprofit entity.
34% to a Charity Chosen by the Host School: This reflects our heartfelt commitment to making a difference in the lives of others through causes close to our members' hearts.
To date, we have proudly donated over $8,5000 to remarkable organizations, including:
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
The Juvenile Diabetes Cure Alliance
Love Our Heroes
The American Cancer Society
Fisher House
Turning Point
The Common Ground Free Store
Beyond our own events, we organize teams for initiatives like the Buddy Walk for Down Syndrome Awareness and the Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics of Ohio. These efforts have raised an additional $2,000, fostering a sense of solidarity and reminding us of the power of compassion. As a 501(c)(3), we are a "tightly wound family" dedicated to empowering individuals and making a real difference in the lives of many.
